Getting Ready for Rebels and Patriots

Rebels and Patriots the latest and last of the 'Rampant' school of rules should be with players next week.  It's intended to cover the French and Indian Wars until the Fenian incursion but one of the authors tells us other conflicts will slot in nicely.  There's no reason to doubt it so I've being getting ready.

First a new project-Napoleon in Egypt.  The figures are from Lancashire Games bought in their recent Sale.   They are biggies (18mm) and I think just right for games in the 'Rampant' style.  See what you think.

Mamluk Cavalry that can be fielded as a unit of 12 'battle' cavalry or 6 light.  I have bought three units.

Some Bedouin ever ready to pounce and operating as two units of 6 light cavalry.

Cairo Janissaries, I need to paint another four of them.

The French 9e Demi Brigade, one of two intended.  This would be a large unit of line infantry in Rebels and Patriots style with the skirmishers counting as a separate small unit of ..well, skirmishers naturally enough.

That's it so far.  More soon including guns and camels and what have you.  I'm also preparing both sides for the Crimea, again from Lancashire and intended for Inkerman style mayhem and the Mexican USA War using Frei Korps and Minifigs true 15s.
