Above, a Russian Brigade. Skirmishers out front, 24 figures per battalion plus a Colonel. A Brigadier supervises. The new regime for my Crimean War games. It will work for Field of Battle and Battle Command too.
I continue enthused with my Crimean War Project. Most of what I need is already done. Currently I'm providing limbers and teams for the artillery. I don't consider these essential but they are nice to have.
Above the British Horse Artillery. They are going to get another gun and limber and that's them done. Both guns and crews from Irregular.
Less flashy but ever reliable the British Royal Foot Artillery. Limbers by Minifigs as is one of the crews. The other is from Irregular Miniatures. Note the less formal dress. It is the sort of thing Ian Kay does so well. These too will get another gun and limber.

The is very much in line with Charge of the Light Brigade rules. I'm guessing it foreshadows Four Empire's requirements too.
Poor light for today's picks. It's the time of year. Anything else? Yes progress on Sieges, Sowars and Sepoys. I should be able to post something soon.

Glad you like them Pete. There is a bloke on Ebay selling Crimean Russians in caps for £4 a pack. Advancing pose, not skirmishing. I got 4 packs to make up the numbers here. Maybe worth a look?
